Privacy Policy

What we collect when you join the list, why we collect it, where it goes and how you can take it back.

Who we are

The controller of your personal data is Quantum Software Technologies Ltd, company number 14209581, registered at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We publish Xevzaxoruli. Contact us about your data at [email protected].

This policy has not yet been confirmed by our legal adviser, and the notice at the top of the page says so.

What we collect

When you use the form we collect:

  • your first name, last name, email address and phone number;
  • your IP address and the country it appears to come from;
  • the country you chose in the phone field and the page you were on;
  • a consent record: the time you ticked the boxes, the version of the consent text and a hashed form of your IP address.

We do not ask for passwords, bank details or identity documents on this site.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your details so the executing broker for your country can contact you about opening an account. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. We also keep a consent record so we can show what you agreed to. We keep records and respond to complaints where the law requires it.

We do not use your details for automated decisions about you, and we do not sell them.

Where your details go

Your details go to our customer-management system. With your consent, we also share your name, email, phone and IP address with the executing broker for your country, so that it can contact you about an account. We use service providers to host the site and to run that system, and they handle data only on our instructions.

The broker’s own privacy policy applies to what it does with your details once it has them. Read it before you open an account.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the legal safeguards the UK GDPR allows.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details while the list is active or until you ask us to remove them. We keep the consent record for as long as it is relevant and then for six years, because we may need it to answer a claim. Retention periods may change after legal review, and we will update this page if they do.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and ask for a copy in a portable form. You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can opt out of calls, by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you withdrew.

We will reply within one month, and we will not charge you for a reasonable request. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we do not hand your data to someone else. If you are unhappy, you can complain to us at [email protected], or to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.

Security

The site is served over TLS 1.3 where your browser supports it. Our records are held in a private area outside the public website, and we store IP addresses in the consent record in hashed form. No system is free of risk, so if we learn of a breach that affects you we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

Cookies and local storage

We keep this short because we use very little.

Essential storage

The site stores your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage, and uses short-lived storage to run page transitions. The site works without these. Nothing in them identifies you.

Analytics

Google Analytics loads only if you press Accept analytics. If you press Essential only, or do nothing, it does not load. It counts visits and which pages are read.

Advertising

We set no advertising cookies and run no advertising trackers.

Changing your mind

Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change your choice. You can also clear site data in your browser.

TradingView price ticker

The price ticker at the top of each page is a widget supplied by TradingView. When a page loads, your browser connects to TradingView’s servers to fetch it. TradingView can therefore receive your IP address and technical details such as your browser type, and it may set its own cookies or similar storage. We do not control this.

The ticker loads for everyone and does not wait for the analytics choice, because it is part of the page content and not our analytics. We do not pass your name, email or phone to TradingView. Its own privacy policy and cookie notice apply to what it does. The prices are for information only and are not advice.

Children and third parties

The site is for adults and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us details, tell us at [email protected] and we will delete them. Please give us only your own details. Entering another person’s name, email or phone number without their knowledge is not allowed, and we will remove such entries when we find them.

If someone contacts you using our name and asks for money, passwords or codes, do not reply. We will never ask you for your password by email or phone. Report it to us and see the official domains listed in the footer.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page. If a change affects what you agreed to, we will ask again. See also our Terms of Use and Risk Disclosure.
